Collagen Stimulating Injections

Dr Saras and Co. offers many cosmetic injectable treatments. Our staff is expertly trained to administer the appropriate application for a natural appearance. Let us help you stay young and fresh with affordable solutions. There are a variety of injectables available at the clinic, including Lip Enhancement, Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Red Capillary Removal, and Anti-Sweat Injections.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

As we age, wrinkles and fine lines begin to appear on our face, which many of us wish to eliminate. These lines are often caused by muscle contractions that form various facial expressions. Over time, these expression lines become more pronounced and may even be noticeable when our face is at rest.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections target and relax the facial muscles responsible for causing wrinkles, especially when we frown or smile, as well as around the mouth and eyes (crow's feet).

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers offer a way to counteract the signs of aging, enhancing facial features by adding volume to areas like the cheekbones, softening fine lines, and giving lips a fuller appearance. Their subtle, long-lasting effects have made them a sought-after non-surgical treatment.

Given their cost-effectiveness, ease of application, and enduring benefits, dermal fillers have risen in popularity. These fillers are temporary, ensuring a soft, natural look which can be reversed if desired. To enhance patient comfort during the procedure, they often include lidocaine or other local anesthetics.

Dermal fillers aim to replenish volume in facial regions that have either diminished over time or naturally lack fullness. Common areas for filler application include the lips, chin, cheeks, jawline, around the eyes, brows, and even the temporal bone. Beyond aesthetic enhancements, fillers can also address certain scars, notably those from acne - the variety of filler options can be tailored to fit the unique requirements of each patient.

Double Chin Injections

It's an injectable treatment using deoxycholic acid that eliminates fat cells in a natural, safe manner.

Until recently, a double chin could be eliminated only by liposuction or a neck lift. While both are effective, they both require invasive methodologies and a long recovery period. FDA approval and TGA clearance of this injection treatment is the first time it has been approved as a safe and effective means of reducing submental fat beneath the chin.

In clinical trials, patients reported more defined chin contours without damaging surrounding tissue as a result of the chin contouring treatment. Excess body fat is safely and naturally eliminated from the body after effective destruction of the targeted fat cells. The benefits are that you will get the results you desire without experiencing any unpleasant side effects.

Anti-Sweating Injections

Sweating or perspiration is a very important function of the body which helps regulate temperature. Sweating, however, can be excessive in some people, having significant psychological and physical consequences. Hyperhidrosis, an excessive sweating condition, is common and affects up to 3% of the population.

Anti-wrinkle injections only work for three to four months on facial muscles, but for sweat glands, they last much longer. Usually, hyperhidrosis treatment lasts 7 months, with some patients experiencing benefits for as long as 13 months before sweating returns gradually to pre-treatment levels. Therefore, we recommend scheduling your anti-wrinkle injections in the warmer months in order to get the full benefit of it during the summer months.

ARE COSMETIC INJECTABLES
FOR ME?

The safety and effectiveness of Cosmetic Injectables has been proven for a wide range of patients. Anti-Wrinkle Injections contain a protein that can be injected into a wide variety of sites and be used medically however, it is most commonly used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

Almost anyone who is interested in smoothing wrinkles with Anti-Wrinkle Injections whether they be crow’s feet around the eyes or wrinkles around the mouth, can benefit from this highly effective treatment.

Maintaining a natural look is key to a youthful appearance. During ageing, we begin to lose the ability to make new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid in our skin, In order to look youthful and supple, Dermal  fillers are used. In addition, we lose volume in the face and lips.

Injectable cosmetic treatments are provided by skilled, qualified cosmetic nurses who assess your individual needs. A consultation with our Doctors and Nurses is the best way to determine if Anti-Wrinkle Injections treatment are right for you.

FAQs

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

The words are interchangeable, and they both refer to the process of targeting muscles with an injection of an injectable.

Our product brands used are only the best available on the global market.

The anti wrinkle or muscle relaxant injection methods use a product called Botulinum toxin that is a purified protein that is derived from bacteria. For decades, it has been used in the medical field.

Due to regulations, we are not permitted to reveal the brand name. However, this can be discussed in your complimentary consultation.

The most common areas treated for wrinkle reduction are the crow's feet (lines outside the eyes), the glabella (between the eyes) and the forehead. Additionally, bunny lines (lines on the nose), jawlines, chins, and necks may also be treated. At Dr Saras & Co Clinics, we can treat even the most challenging cases.

Furthermore, muscle relaxants can be used to treat excessive sweating and grinding of the teeth.

Although regular treatment may result in a reduction in dosage with regular use, the effect may last up to four months.

The maximum is usually fully developed three to ten days after the treatment, and retreatment cannot occur within this timeframe.

DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS

A dermal filler procedure does not need an anesthetic because it contains local anesthetic. The procedure involves a few tiny injections directly into the skin and takes between 15 and 30 minutes. After the procedure, makeup can be applied immediately, and you can go back to work right away. You can see the results immediately. Optimal results can be maintained over a long period of time through regular repeated treatments. Depending on your needs and the severity of the wrinkles being treated, as well as the type of dermal filler being used, the procedure may vary from person to person.

After treatment, results are immediately visible, but they gradually improve over the next two to four weeks. Most results last between nine and eighteen months, although the best results can be maintained through regular repeated therapy. Dermal fillers vary in lifespan from person to person depending on the type and severity of wrinkles being treated, in addition to the type of filler that is being used.

The answer is yes. Our clinic only uses products that have proven safety records. A substance such as hyaluronic acid (HA) is found naturally in the skin cells, and thus presents no allergic reaction risk. It is possible to receive these fillers safely even if you have food sensitivities. Several of the brands of dermal fillers we use are available in more than 90 countries. They have been used for nearly two decades for injectable cosmetic treatments with an excellent safety record.

Compared to the first-generation collagen injections, today's dermal fillers are much more advanced. With advanced injection techniques and the use of a micro-cannula (blunt needle), serious side effects are extremely rare, but they can include:

Reactions to injections - These reactions include redness at the injection site immediately following the treatment.

Bruising -  occasionally bruises can occur. In contrast, using a micro-cannula (blunt needle) dramatically reduces the risk of bruising.

Contour irregularities - it is possible and does happen occasionally for contours to be irregular. Although massaging is usually effective at removing lumps, if persistent, fillers can be quickly and easily dissolved.

Infections - this procedure can lead to infection, just like any injection. In addition to the sterility of the syringe, standard precautions are taken with injectable materials.

Necrosis — one of the worst possible complications of dermal filler. Fortunately, this is an extremely rare occurrence. An accidental injection of dermal filler into a blood vessel blocks the blood supply to the skin/tissue in that location.

Blindness — This is a very rare complication. The condition has been reported in about 100 cases worldwide and results from injecting dermal filler into blood vessels with a connection to the arteries that bring blood and oxygen to the eyes. So far, no successful treatment has been found for this condition.

DOUBLE CHIN INJECTIONS

Initially, you will see your injector for 15 minutes, and then each treatment will take 30-60 minutes. In order to achieve optimal results, it is suggested to have two treatments, six weeks apart.

Following treatment, you can return to work the next day. Avoid strenuous activity for several days, and bruising is likely to last for up to three weeks.

ANTI-SWEATING INJECTIONS

Depending on the category of hyperhidrosis, you will experience different types of excessive sweating. The two categories are primary and secondary. In primary hyperhidrosis, there is no known cause. Childhood hyperhidrosis is usually inherited. Families with the condition are also more likely to suffer from it.

An underlying medical condition may be the cause of secondary hyperhidrosis, which can affect the whole body. Hyperthyroidism, menopause and obesity may be possible causes. Before seeking treatment, you should consult with your GP to determine the cause of your excessive sweating.

At Saras & Co we treat patients with hyperhidrosis in the underarms. Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) can also affect the hands, feet, and even the face in some people.

Known as anti-wrinkle products, sweat reduction injectables use a muscle relaxant to reduce excessive sweating.

Due to regulations, we are not permitted to reveal the brand name. However, this can be discussed in your complimentary consultation.
