Non Surgical Thread Treatment
Using mono threads, only one thread is placed under the skin in order to stimulate collagen and elastin production, as a result tightening the skin, improving sagging tissue, and improving facial contours.

Using a needle, threads are inserted under the skin after a topical numbing cream is applied. Threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO), the same material used in surgery to seal wounds. Several months after treatment, clients feel more voluminous and refreshed as the skin appears tighter and firmer.
Long Lasting Results
Following removal of the needle, the threads remain in place for six months and then dissolve slowly. Despite the fact that they dissolve in about three months, collagen stimulation can last for up to twelve months. Threads are made from resorbable polylactic acid sutures, which dissolve to help stimulate your skin’s own collagen production. The threads are inserted under the skin using a needle (without any incisions), to elevate the sagging tissue in problem areas.
Local anaesthetic is used at the entry and exits points. Once they have been inserted the skin can be compressed and reshaped to obtain the desired lifting effect.
Results can be seen immediately after the treatment, and the rejuvenation effects will begin to be seen after 3 months. The results last over 1 year, driven by the collagen stimulation around the suture and cone structures.
The downtime for thread treatment is minimal. As with other cosmetic procedures, you may experiencing some mild bruising or swelling, and are back to work within 2-3 days. Some patients may experience some side effects slightly after this period, but generally full recovery occurs by 2 weeks.
